On, September 11th, the Walpole Knights of Columbus #1319 will sponsor a Blue Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at theam. chaplain for the Knights, Fr. Chip will be the celebrant.
A Blue Mass is a tribute to the blue-colored uniforms of police officers, firefighters, emergency medical providers and law enforcement officers. has become increasingly popular across the country since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. This Blue Mass honors those who have fallen in the line of duty and those currently serving in our local and national defense of our country.
